Tour To Noria

Padma is only 7 km from Kazir hat
Kazir hat,Shariatpur
Shariatpur is my native home District;in fact i was was born there. I roamed around different City Corporations, remote villages and towns with my girlfriend,Talus-2. I could never have been able to see my district such closely if she wasn't with me.With her I rode through paddy fields, tunnels of trees, and been to places where I never thought of going.

This tunnel of greenery will lead you

Its really easy to go to Shariatpur from DHAKA only around 70km+/-. From Mawa, Munshiganj every one hour launch sets off for Majikandi. And it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes to cross the Padma River. Kazir Hat,the largest bazzar, in SHARIATPUR district is only around 7 km from ajikandi from Kazir hat.Kazir hut have routes to all parts of the whole district.

Rosgolla
Jaker sweetmit,Norea Bazar,Norea,Shariatpur
Norea is also famous for its soft and yummy sweet (namely Rosgolla). These small balls of clouds, Rosgolla were so tasty that still today I remember its scent and taste. Hence I took picture of the shop and the sweets so that those who goes there can have  the same heart-touching taste as I had.

Norea is currently famous for its newly established park,Modern Fantasy park. The only park in Shariatpur district. The park was established in 2009;but since it is located in a remote area of Norea it took time to gain its popularity.

Its financed by Dr.Motin himself only. And people are excited to have a park like this in their village. The park is a combination of both amusement park and a zoo.
It has cable cars, rides for kids and few animals in the mini zoo and a small picnic spot.

Though its not much but
still for people of Norea it  brought hope, only park for holidays and the authority is trying to extend their project, buy more lands, animals and rides and present the park in a better way.

Tour to Munshiganj

My first cycling tour was around 30 km (I don't remember precisely!!).
And that was in Munshiganj. .Since it was near to my home town, Narayangonj, I often go there. Each and every time I have been amazed to discover such a beautiful town which had existed all these years in my neighborhood and i didn't notice. Munshigonj is full of greenery, the roads are clean and smooth pitched, less crowded (few areas have no dwelling at all), people are friendly and foods are cheap and tasty (yummy!!).
This made me even more crazier for cycling and I began to wander in nature, move through new towns and streets. Then I moved on, whenever I felt a bit low, I just put my feet on paddle and was gone for the day.....
Cycling has injected happiness into my blood......

Munshiganj is like a smart, developed village to me.
Main transportation is :buses, polly-bikes, motor-bikes and bicycles.
But unfortunately number of motor-bikes are more than bicycles which are affecting the nature of this beautiful villages along with buses, trucks and other motorized vehicle. At-least one out of three families own a motor-bike.To them motor-bike represents youth, energy, wealth and power. And owning a motor bike has turned into a trend among them.

I have been there many times. And NCC(Narayanganj CyclistClub) members visit there often. Many cyclist from Dhaka and beyond have also been there. I was dumbfounded when a kid, around 10, screamed out"BD CYCLIST" while I was gushing past him. They are being inspired in cycling and media has played a great role so far. Hopefully people of Munshiganj would also contribute in gifting a greener world to their next generation.
