After hard earned liberation war in Bangladesh people of Bangladesh has made thousand of monument in memory of the martyred. Among which Shahid Minar-Dhaka,Ahsan Manzil and Sarwardi Uddan ,National Martyr's memorialt-Savar, and Martyred Intellectual Memorials are the most well known ones.

Sarwardi Uddan will fall in the same route if you enter Dhaka University through Sahabag,dhaka. However i have linked the map to the pic.However if you go to Sarwaradi you can see grave of A. K. Fazlul Huq, Huseyn Shaheed ,Suhrawardyand Khwaja Nazimuddin and neighbouring the Uddan is Bangla Achademy, and hindu temple both of which bears memory of 1971.
Only 38 km away from Dhaka.And you will find Jahangirnagar University on the way, a small land for migratory birds. Its better if you can contact the cyclist group Jahangirnagar University before you set off.They might help to show you around.

| BACKYARD OF NATIONAL MARTYRED MONUMENT |
Few kms ahead is NATIONAL MARTYRED MONUMENT with a huge yard in front and great plantation all around the territory. No cycle parking facility,neither cycles are allowed to be parked in. You might talk to the officer in charge whose office is right beside the main gate and request him to park you cycle beside his office. I got a permission and a space to keep my cycle and roam around with my friends from BRAC UNIVERSITY CYCLIST CLUB from him.
N.B: NO ONE WILL BE GUARDING YOUR CYCLE. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK.
